Don't go to work if you're sick -- please!

During the winter more and more sickness occurs. Most workers can’t or won’t stay home from work. By not staying home they are spreading the sickness farther and faster. If it’s not possible to stay home then limit your contact with people. Its easier to stay home and get a good rest than to continue working and getting others sick.

A 13-year-old girl was diagnosed with autism when she was just a young girl. The doctors told her she would outgrow the effects, but so far as failed to do so. Ever 150 children are effect by autism. Autism effects communication and social skills. The behavior is uncontrollable and hard to deal with. It’s a very unique behavior.


Key discovery made in fight against bird flu

Experts are saying they have now found key components of the bird flu. With their new discoveries they are hoping it will create opportunities for new medications. Since 2003 404 human cases have been reported. The bird flu tends to replicate itself and with the new discoveries scientist can focus more on that to find more helpful medications.

A young boy died from being struck by a car, crossing the street to get to school. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, nearly 5,000 pedestrians died and 70,000 were injured traffic causes in 2007. Children are at risk because of their size and unawareness. Preventing accidents like these are easy. Drivers need to be more cautious as well as the pedestrians.
