Nurse didn't show up for smoothie with friends

On November 3, 2006 Nonnie Dotson disappeared. She was meeting friends at the local mall for smoothies, but failed to show up. Just a few months before her disappearance she won her court battle for child support of her daughter. The police have no leads and are not ruling out any possibilities.

"I believe in an eye for an eye. If you do the crime, you need to have justice," he said. "In the end, it's up to the jury, but all that matters is that he can't hurt anyone again." A jury sentenced Thurber to death on February 18. A Kansas court will decide whether to uphold the jury's verdict in a hearing scheduled for March 20. But because of the budget defects this could possible change.

Jose Alvarenga was a husband and father. He was also a pastor. And he was gunned down in front of his children. He had a houseful of family who witnessed this tragedy. The killers demanded money, drugs, or gold, and when Jose tried to compromise they shot him in the chest.
Casey Anthony to face trial in October in daughter's death

In October Casey Anthony faces trial against killer her daughter. Anthony, 22, faces seven counts, including first-degree murder, in the death of her toddler daughter, Caylee. She has been missing sense June and was just recently found in a wooded area. Evidence leads to her mother murdering her.
