Alumni Night
During basketball season at Tongue River High School, the basketball students and coaches would play their last game on the old gym. TRHS had been around for 50 years. Faculty and students wanted to make the last home game ever, the most memorable. FCCLA members put on an alumni night and invited all past students that attended TRHS. They decorated the school and gave out jackets. In-between varsity games they announced all the graduates and had them stand up. The varsity boy’s basketball team wore old jerseys in memory of all the graduates. The alumni night was a success and will always be remembered. We students are now in the new school, and the old school is being tore down. Past graduates and current students will always remember the old school because of the alumni night.
